  • Led a local team to build an event analysis tool that garnered much appreciation for its innovation and utility globally

  • Employed various techniques in text mining, association rule mining and anomaly detection
  • Took the tool from proof-of-concept to full-fledged development with an extensive front-end developed on R Shiny framework. This tool was adopted as an important tool under the AI umbrella by GE Power
  • Showcased the project to stakeholders in various GE businesses both in India and overseas, which resulted in cross-business collaboration and funding commitments
Worked on wind farm optimization for GE Renewables
  • Was part of a global team for developing data based solutions for wake management
  • Built data-based wake models to better track wake propagation and deflection using sensor logs and radar imagery
  • Co-developed an innovative wind direction calibration tool that got deployed on the field

High Performance Computing

Human Machine Interface
Independently developed an interactive prototype for GE Power that combines speech, gesture and VR on 3D turbine models for an enhanced human-machine interaction while analyzing turbines. This web-based prototype uses:
  • Three.js for 3D modelling and VR rendering
  • Google Web Speech API for speech interaction
  • Kinect API for gesture recognition
The prototype answers questions on turbine health and allows for visual inspection of the 3D model of the turbine using gestures.
