WhiteHat Jr is founded by Karan Bajaj, bestselling novelist and Discovery Networks India ex-CEO.
Karan published his first novel, Keep off the Grass (HarperCollins) in 2008. A fundamental shift happened in viewing himself as a creator versus consumer of ideas. In the years since, he’s written three novels, Johnny Gone Down (HarperCollins 2010),The Seeker/The Yoga of Max’s Discontent (Penguin Random House 2015) all bestsellers with movie deals, while deepening his spiritual practice and pursuing his corporate career with Procter & Gamble, Boston Consulting Group, and Kraft upto his latest stint as Discovery Networks India CEO.
Now, as the father of two young daughters, Karan believes in the incredible power of early childhood coding to makes kids creators in the new world. Kids use the fundamentals of logic, sequence, structure and algorithmic thinking to create tech products eg. games, animations and apps. At an early age, they view themselves as builders--makers of games versus players of games, creators of videos versus surfers of videos. As a result, there is a fundamental shift in their destiny as visionaries, entrepreneurs and artists of the future.
