One Degree's mission is to empower people to create a path out of poverty for themselves and for their communities. Our core product is a web and mobile platform makes it easy for low-income families to find, manage, and review nonprofit and government services. Thousands of people in San Francisco and Alameda County use One Degree to discover, get information about, and share their experiences with food banks, employment services, health clinics, and more. Rey Faustino

Founder and CEO
Rey launched One Degree to ensure that all families have access to services they need to overcome poverty. Rey began his career as a teacher and later was the site director at BUILD, a college access nonprofit organization that propels low-income youth to attain a college education. He is an alumnus of Y Combinator, an Echoing Green Fellow, an Education Pioneers Fellow, and a New America CA Fellow. Rey was nominated for the inaugural Visionary of the Year Award by the San Francisco Chronicle.
