About
Nomad Health is the first digital marketplace for healthcare jobs, efficiently connecting quality clinicians with rewarding career opportunities and taking the busywork out of finding clinical work. We are a well-funded Series C startup backed by First Round Capital, RRE Ventures, .406 Ventures, Polaris Partners, Icon Ventures, and Kevin Ryan (founder of MongoDB, Zola, Gilt, and DoubleClick).

The U.S. healthcare system is experiencing a staffing crisis. Employers spend $20 billion per year recruiting clinicians to provide care for patients around the country. Nomad replaces antiquated staffing agencies with modern technology to efficiently source, qualify, and hire medical talent on demand. Clinicians find better jobs with higher pay. Employers fill roles faster with higher quality care.

Nomad is a fast growing team of technologists, creators, and industry experts passionate about modernizing healthcare staffing so doctors and nurses can get back to the work they do best: caring for others.
Why Work With Us
Medicine is a noble profession. A calling. We built this company to return medicine to its roots. Nomad eliminates the chaotic and inelegant healthcare staffing system of yesterday and replaces it with a simple, modern platform that just works.
Now clinicians can get back to doing what they do best: caring for patients. And hospitals and clinics can fill critical positions so they can focus on serving their communities.
Welcome to Nomad. Built by clinicians, for clinicians.

Co-Founder and CEO
I am committed to making transformational change in the health care system by founding and funding innovative, entrepreneurial ventures and helping them grow to large scale. Currently, I am building a health tech company with a team I'm proud to be a part of. Out of love for medicine and to remain relevant as an entrepreneur, I remain a member of the Department of Medicine faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College and New York Presbyterian Hospital.
